The first ever #MindNBody workshop was held at the Kingsholm Stadium in Gloucester, bringing together passionate people who want to make a difference to perinatal mental health care.
#MindNBody builds on previous #MatExp Whose Shoes? work. Here is the short film we made, giving you a flavour of the event.
As you will see in the film, #MatExp Whose Shoes? workshops provide an inclusive way of getting women and families, healthcare professionals and other interested parties talking together as equals.
We celebrated what is working well already and explored what can be further improved. We challenged people to think about what they could do themselves and to take action accordingly. There were some very exciting pledges. We look forward to seeing these being put into action and hopefully compiling some powerful case studies, supplementing the two booklets from the existing #MatExp and #NobodysPatient projects.
